Our day trip to Essaouira starts from Marrakech at 8:00 AM, crossing the Houaz Plains towards Essaouira. We will take a coffee break on the way and then continue past the unique Argan trees forest in the area, with an optional stop at a local cooperative to learn about the production of Argan oil. Optionally, we can visit Val d’Argan, a vineyard established by a French wine connoisseur. Upon arrival, we will start exploring Essaouira’s medina, the Mellah (old Jewish quarter), the Kasbah, and the fishing port with a local guide. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the city’s beautiful beaches, and enjoy mint tea at Place Moulay Elhassan with Gnawa music. Also, we can enjoy some activities like camel or horseback riding, surfing, and quad biking. Our Essaouira day trip will come to an end around 6:00 PM, as our driver will bring us back to Marrakech.
